Lose Weight by eating Pine Nut “Nacho Cheese” Dip

By: Dr. Roger Duda

What is the number one reason why consumers stop dieting? Hunger! Dieters grow weary from hunger and they eventually reach for food and get off-track from their diet.

So what can you do to decrease hunger naturally? Consider eating PINE NUTS.

Pine nuts provide health-conscious consumers a realistic way to reduce the feelings of hunger while safely pursuing a reduction in their caloric intake (in other words, eating less food) that leads to sustained reductions in body fat.

Pine nuts contain pinolenic acid, which stimulates an appetite suppressant hormone that tells the brain to turn off your hunger, so you naturally stop eating. In fact, a study in Korea showed that participants exhibited a 36 percent lower perceived hunger following the ingestion of just 3 grams of pinolenic acid before a meal. As a result, those in the study ate less and lost weight.

Pine nuts and other natural appetite suppressants can help keep you on track with your diet by reducing the feelings of hunger normally associated with food restrictions. When combined with sufficient exercise and healthy eating choices, these supplements can help transform any diet into a complete success, delivering the body fat loss you’re looking for without the hunger pangs normally associated with a reduction of food intake.

The 5 Keys to Great Health

the 5 keys to great health

As Walter Cronkite puts it, “America’s healthcare system is neither healthy, caring, nor a system.” In fact, about 1/5 of all money in the U.S, $2.24 trillion in 2007, is spent on healthcare, yet we are 37th in the world in health care.We are not getting a good return on our investment!

It greatly saddens me that millions are needlessly suffering with heart disease, cancer, diabetes, debilitating illnesses and life-threatening diseases because their negative health and lifestyle choices are a result of a fundamental lack of knowledge about what their body needs to function properly.

At True Wellness, Inc., we are passionate about teaching you about the inner workings of your body.  We are dedicated to equipping you with simple truths and natural principles that guarantee health.  We aim to provide you with life-changing, invaluable information, tools, and resources that will arm you with the knowledge you need to alleviate your suffering.

By following the “5 Keys to Great Health” listed below, you will be giving your body what it needs to heal and to work right! It is my hope that you will use these time-tested health principles to unlock the shackels of your poor health and to give yourself a new lease on life!

The 5 Keys to Great Health

1. Rest- Restful sleep at night is essential for good health.  An estimated fifty to seventy million Americans live on the brink of mental and physical collapse    due to lack of sleep. If you are not getting 9 hours of good sleep you are increasing the rate at which your body ages, increasing your likelihood of catching a cold, potentially increasing your weight, increasing your risk of type 2 diabetes, reducing your sex drive, decreasing your brain function and increasing the production of harmful stress hormones. Thus, good sleep is one of the best “health principles” available to you.

2. Water, Food and Supplements-Water is the single most important nutrient for our bodies and is considered the “miracle cure” for many health conditions. If you are not drinking enough clean and pure water you are dehydrated. Dehydration has been shown to be a contributing factor in joint pain, arthritis, high blood pressure, digestive problems, asthma and other conditions. All foods are not created equal. A good dietary regimen which favors “alive” food over “dead” food (including fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, fish, eggs, cheese and chicken) is ideal. In addition, eating foods that are alkaline, as opposed to acidic, promote health. Processed, cooked and stored foods no longer possess the vital nutrients our body needs to function properly, therefore, nutritional supplementation is essential to obtain and maintain a healthy body.

3. Exercise- Americans are one of the most obese and sedentary populations in the world. Exercise is vital to improving health and losing weight. Exercise has been shown to prevent cancer, heart attacks, heart disease (the leading causes of death in Americans). It also helps to slow aging, lower stress, alleviate pain, prevent colds and flu’s, controls blood sugar in diabetes and may even help prevent diabetes. Thus, move it or lose it!

4. Detoxification-Because of the way Americans eat and drink and because of the toxicity of our environment- everything from manufacturing to agriculture- many people’s bodies are backed up with microscopic garbage. These toxins have been shown to contribute to cancers, memory loss, athritis, fatigue, headaches, skin conditions, poor immune function and other conditions. There are simple things you can do to rid your body of these toxins and to decrease your exposure to toxins.

5. Control Stress-Long term stress has been shown to make you obese and unhealthy, to cause high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc. Excessive stress can predispose you to develop or aggrevate every conceivable affliction. It is important to identify causes of stress, practice mindfulness, reframing, forgiveness, laughter and other strategies to reduce stress. It is also critical to get a comprehensive evaluation from a qualified physician to detect and minimize potential physical causes of stress on your body.
